Would you like to print custom clothing, but you have absolutely no experience?  How do all those other custom garment designers do it?  Where did they begin?  How can you get started?  If these questions are racing through your mind, let me help you out before you explode!  Custom printing isn’t some elite privilege for the rich or those with art degrees!  Anybody can get custom printing if you work with a reputable contract printer!  A contract printer will have what you need to get started and will be able to provide valuable insight while you learn the ropes.

Another major benefit from having your custom decoration done by a contract printer is that you won’t have to deal with production!  If you’ve ever tried screen printing on your own before, you will know that it is a very technical process.  There are many variables to account for and if you don’t know enough, you might waste a lot of time and effort that could have been spent elsewhere.  So skip the headache and let the professionals take care of the printing.  You can focus on the creative side and work to grow your business.

If you are in need of a high quality, professional contract printer, we, at AMBRO Manufacturing, would be more than happy to fill that role!  We’ve been in the apparel customization business for over 30 years, so you know that we know what we’re doing.  We have many different specialty printing methods to offer you so there is no shortage of options for your creativity to explore.  It’s simple to get a project started; you only need to reach out to one of our representatives to set it in motion.  If you would like to make AMBRO Manufacturing your contract printer and find out more about us, you can contact us by email or by calling us at (908) 806-8337.

Discharge Printing Method

Have you heard of the discharge printing method for decorating garments before?  If you haven’t, I imagine it must sound like quite an odd way to print!  The reason behind where the discharge printing method gets its name from is the discharge agent that is present in the ink.  You see, the only difference between water based ink printing and discharge printing is that the discharge agent is added to the water based ink!  Now all this talk about discharge printing, but what does that really mean?

The discharge printing method is meant to remove the existing color from the fabric, thus discharging it, so that you can replace it with your desired color.  Why would you want to print this way?  There’s a bunch of reasons why some garment designers prefer to use the discharge printing method!  One of the top reasons is how soft the prints turn out.  Water based inks leave behind amazingly soft prints unlike the industry standard plastisol inks because they contain a liquid solvent, typically water.  Since discharge and water based inks are so fluid, you can print over seams in a garment which makes them great at all over printing!

So for flowy and lightweight clothing, don’t weigh them down with heavy plastisol prints, use the discharge printing method instead and watch how your customers ‘ooh and aah’ over how soft and flexible your custom prints are!  It’s easy to get started if you come to us at AMBRO Manufacturing.  We are a contract screen printing, sublimation and embroidery company with everything you need for top quality printing.  We offer discharge printing alongside many other garment decoration methods that you can select from as well.  If you would like to place an order, or if you would like to find out more about us and our services, you can contact us by email or by calling at (908) 806-8337.
