Back in the day they used to take a die with their logo and hit it as hard as they could with a mallet. Now since technology has come a long way we no longer have to hit anything with a mallet as much as we would love to do that sometime we just do not have to. Now we have a machine that you can place your die with your specific logo on and it will heat up the logo and you can stamp it into the leather. Another awesome feature you can add more force or remove force depending how deep you want your logo to be. These machines can also do several other things besides embossing leather.
