Have you heard about garments customized with discharge prints?  I’m sure you’ve probably heard about screen printing, or at the very least, you’ve seen it on custom clothing before, so you’re not too far off.  Many screen printed garments are printed using plastisol inks, but there are more options than just plastisol inks!  Let’s take discharge prints for example:  Discharge ink is a type of water based ink that has different properties than plastisol ink which gives you different printing results.

The biggest difference between the inks is the use of a solvent.  Plastisol inks are easy to reuse over and over again because they lack a solvent which prevents them from drying up when exposed to air.  The trade-off for easy storage and reuse is that plastisol inks tend to dry stiff and heavy which won’t work for every garment.  Water based ink printing doesn’t have to worry about that because the inks contain a solvent that allows you to print softer.  Of course, when working with a solvent you have a time limit on the ink before it expires so printing with them can be a bit trickier.

Discharge prints take water based inks a step further because a special discharge agent can be mixed into the pigmented ink so as to allow you to remove the existing color from the garment while depositing the desired color in its place.  Since you don’t even need to print an underbase layer the resulting print will be ultra soft, as though the print has always been a part of the fabric!  So if you are interested in trying out custom discharge prints, you should come to AMBRO Manufacturing where we can provide you with all of that and more.  You can easily contact us to place your order, or to find out more about our company and services, by email or by giving us a call at (908) 806-8337.

Custom Made Bandanas

Custom Made Bandanas

Custom made bandanas are a unique and inexpensive way to get your business out there and to get new customers. With custom made bandanas you can either get them screen printed or sublimated but if you choose to have your custom made bandana sublimated, your bandana can only be white and must be made of 100% polyester or polyester based. If you don’t want to have a white bandana don’t worry. You can sublimate your custom made bandana any color you would like from black to yellow. With screen printing it doesn’t matter the color of the bandana we can print on it.

There are many different color bandanas from solid to tie dye to choose from as well as many different ink colors that I’m sure you will find something to your liking for your custom made bandana. There are also different sizes you can get your custom made bandana that range from 14”X14” which is a small hankie size to the normal size of a bandana which is 22”X22”. We also offer triangle bandanas which are great for dogs and cats and come in a range of sizes from small to x-large.
