Custom Embroidery Baseball Cap

Custom Embroidery Baseball Caps have seen a surge in popularity thanks to the help of Hollywood. Over the past several years, new leading characters have come out in block buster movies and are wearing a signature baseball cap. This trend has grossed gender line popularity with men and women and has created an explosion of resurgence in the fashion world of caps.

We’ve seen more new cap designs and more revival of retro caps in the last 3 years, than over the last 30. Circa 2002, you could find a few varieties of cap, but in 2021 and beyond, you are now starting to see a huge range of style offerings.

What’s been interesting with custom embroidery baseball caps is to see how popular some of the old styles from the 1970’s have become. Trucker hats, foam hats and what was once considered a “cheap” cap, are all highly sought after items.

One of the most popular requests with trucker hats has been to implement a faux patch on the front. If you’ve ever seen the classic hat with the rounded edge rectangular patch on the front, it is this style that has really been popular.

Since small patch runs of under 100 patches are often too much for most clients. Faux patch sewing has become more popular. Faux patch sewing is when we make an embroidery design look like a patch. We base down a fill pattern or mash down stitch, sew the design on top of that, and then put a satin stitch around the edge, to emulate the classic merrowed edge of a patch.

Contract Discharge Printer

If you need a contract discharge printer to create your super-soft prints then you’ve come to the right place.  AMBRO Manufacturing is a contract apparel customization company so we have the resources you’ll need to create all kinds of fantastic designs.  As your contract discharge printer we can offer you top quality discharge prints at wholesale prices, so if you’re ready to start churning out custom designs, we’re here to help you make it happen.

If you’ve never worked with a contract discharge printer before you may not know what the process entails.  Most screen printing is done with plastisol inks because they don’t contain a solvent so they won’t dry up and you can reuse them over and over again.  The downside is that they are cured by heat which stiffens the ink and for some garments this can create a heavy and rough patch that is undesirable.  Water based printing is different because the ink used contains a solvent (usually water) and thus it is thinner and penetrates the fabric deeper.  The resulting print is much softer to the touch and it’s ideal for all over coverage or lightweight fabrics.

Discharge printing is just a form of water based printing where a discharge agent has been mixed into the formula.  The discharge agent allows you to remove the existing color from the fabric while depositing the desired color in its place and less layers of ink mean additional softness.  You don’t have to just take our word for it though because you can just try it out for yourself.  If you are interested in placing an order for custom discharge printing, or if you would like to learn more about our company and all of the customization services we have to offer, you can contact us by email or by giving us a call at (908) 806-8337.
