It doesn’t apply layers of colored inks like screen printing would, but instead the entire image is transferred in one motion. A sublimation printer is used to print out specialized dye onto a sheet of heat resistant paper. The print out is placed onto the fabric to be printed and both are put into a sublimation press. The press applies high heat and pressure over a short period of time which causes the dye on the paper to be released as a gas and absorbed by the material below. Are you part of a club or maybe your son or daughter is in the military and you’re looking for a coming home gift to let them know you how proud you are of them. You can get the prestige flags. Prestige flags are flags that you have to show off your pride for your team, club, or division or unit. Here at AMBRO Manufacturing for your prestige flags we use golf flags that are made out of polyester and you can either get them sublimated or screen printed.

Sublimation is a digital printing method for transferring images onto something, which in this case is a flag. This is a very unique ability and is initiated by heat and controlled with pressure and time. When the heat and pressure are applied the dye becomes a gas and absorbs into the polyester becoming a part of the prestige flag itself. Sublimation printing is weightless, doesn’t fade or crack and is long lasting. Screen printing is the printing process where screens are coated with a photosensitive emulsion, dried with a light, and then burned with the artwork. After that process they are loaded up onto the printing press and covered in ink, they are then transferred to the flag. If you looking to get 1 or 2 prestige flags done your best bet would be to get them sublimated, if you are looking to get 12 or more done then screen printing is the way to go.
